Anyone that has Pots and Other Servos Pots that you can take measurement from and post a pic with dimensions would be appreciated or have a Spec sheet on,,,  I already have Mr Gaels Pot holder incorporated into the design – I’m looking for any other Pots people use or aftermarket pots that you can use with servos/motors – anyone with a Savox Pot would be really appreciated

At the moment it’s for small pots,,, but the design can easily be enlarged to take larger Pots but this mean no or very little room for the wires to run through the centre gear so its double edge sword,,, the SketchUp file will be released when the Parts are released so you can do the mods yourself later on  but while I’m doing It now,,, speak up now—it only takes me a few minutes to make—

Basically I want to finish this section off ,,,and am looking for any Input to make sure a haven’t screwed it up,,,

Hi
great idea having a small inset to allow for different pot's.
How is turning of the potholder prevented (it is a round cylinder, isn't it?)
The pot is held in place with the friction of the rotating shaft?

If you look at the other pic’s down the page a bit,,, Theres set screw that holds it place  ( I use insert a lot but you don’t have too ) it’s actually a very simple bit very effective way of getting the pots exactly where you want them and allows for an easy pot change out,,, -

There a “D” Shaft “ and “Rectangle” lockers  I’ve modded the original MainGear to take the bearing but have kept one Version with the original Rectangle Slot on it for the pot  ,,, it’s all about multiple option to pick from --  most of this stuff was designed for other projects but Inmoov is a pet project for me so I adapted the designs to fit ,,,

I’ll be dumping all the files soon with the SketchUp files so people can Mod to suit their needs (even the vapourware stuff like Nema17 motor mounts) SketchUp is very easy 3d platform to use or learn on which is why I’m releasing under its format instead the more expensive platforms ,,- this gives everyone a chance to easily to do Mod work on Inmoov,,,

This is a good solution to the pot positioning problem.

I found this was especially an issue with the pots at the back of the shoulders for lifting the arm sideways (omoplate). Being able to turn them is really important, as the parts would pull apart easily and it's a major pain to put back together.

I use round pot holders from Thingiverse and round metal pots and just glue them in. Couldn't see any other way to do it.

Elegant solution here. Thanks.

I’ve got this Pot system working in the – Elbow plus the 2 pots in the Bicep and the one for the Shoulder,, so the whole Arm is done,,,,
