InMoov: Trying to get speech recognition to work

The servo's (left hand) are working mnualy, but not on speechrecognition.

I use an Arduino Uno and the InMovv.minimal.py

Step #1 - Make sure Java & Microphone are happy. Easy way to test this.

Start an AudioCapture Service.

Then press "Capture" ... talk out loud for a little while.. then press
"Playback" - When you press playback this is what InMoov is listening to.
Can you hear yourself or no?

and yes I can hear myself talking, So everything seem right!

Do you have other suggestions

(sorry, I think I had to reply!)

Try to let the script

Try to let the script finishing... In the python box it should print : listening

After listening, you can start with voice commands

See the second picture (after executing)

At the bottom it says: ......, I'm not talking so I'm listening

it still doesn't work!

I can see your using version 1695... this is very old version.. when you have time download this https://myrobotlab.googlecode.com/files/myrobotlab.1987.20140310.1057.zip unzip, and start myrobotlab - then press

System-> update -> install latest (then enjoy favorite beverage - it will take a while)

When you get back we can show you a script which should work.

that's why I use the older version. Is it possible to use 2 versions (start it from an other directory (map))??

MRL didn't show anything after updating, had to start MRL, because after updating it closed. (is this right?, If so,is it possible to give a message after updating in the future?)
