i'll give that a whirl, thanks.. I think I got all the dependencies finally, it seems to work in linux 32 and 64

it might be - depends if the make file was made that way ... you can with Linux binaries strip the debug material out after they are built (a very cool thing you which cant be done on windows dlls)
