Hi Amby,

I'm no expert, but it seems like your little tab might not be at the same level ?

It looks like its not sticking to the bed ... dwilli has recommended beer on the bed to improve stickyness.

Printing with ABS or PLA?

heatbed on temp? 110deg. and Nozzle temp on AT LEAST 235 deg? I print with an E3d head and smart ABS on 255deg, heatbed on 115.

I have an aluminium heatbed with PEI impregnated, so no ABS slurry, beer or kapton. But normally, use kapton tape with some acetone with ABS mixed in, and all sticks well.

Cant see the photos well enough and dont know your settings.

That "tab" looks like it's the first part of the "O" which isn't on the bed. You can either turn on support but that will mean you'll have to clean support material out of all the letters which might not look that good when you're done.

You can also try to cool the plastic faster as it comes out. A cooling fan will help and turning down your extruder temperature a little more might help too. My print of that part has a little bit of "noodliness" to it but I trimmed it off a little and since it is in a crack next to the "M" of the right side, you won't see it much.  I printed in Black and colored the front of the letters silver with a Sharpie marker so your attention isn't on that print problem.

Here are my print notes from that part.

It is the "O" of InMoov which is a little higher then the bed surface which cause a overhanging . You will need to add support for this print, because your ABS isn't cooled down fast enough at the extruder nozzle on your machine.

For the record I extrude the OrbiTech ABS at 245 degree, but I noticed all ABS don't react the same.

Gael, ever tried the smart ABS from orbitech? has to print a little warmer at 255 degree, but almost no warping, sticks to glass with little acetoneslurry, and when cold pops right off. and quality is perfect!

If you put a contrasting color on the front of the letters when you're done no one will notice that you had to do a little cleaning up.

From a little further back you can't really see that it was messed up that much. Once you're InMoov is complete and doing things, no one will have time to look that closely at the parts. They'll be too amazed by what it can do.
