Next version 'Nixie' is coming soon !

Help us to get ready with MyRobotLab version Nixie: try it !

Wanted to take a second a share a weird phenomenon.

Heres is my experience so far on Windows 8.1 32-bit MRL .1324. Based on my previous post, I must set Input Source to "VideoInput" NOT OpenCV. I must set index to "2" (for USB connected Hercules).

I MUST start and stop CAPTURE 3 times with NO luck. The USB camera only blinks a blue light each time. The 4th time I press capture, the camera works.

I am not able to get the Speech service working. Even after installing the default proxy backend MarySpeak

I am getting mary packages not recognized. Is the speech functionality working in the latest build. Please guide me on this.

20160516 - Update !

We can talk !  Parts of MrlComm are now running on the Esp8266.  Did a full getVersion request and the data flowed !  ....  goodtimes....

Next is considerable cleanup..   MrlComm "should" be a library..   and then I "think" this should probably not be its own service ... its really just a reconfig of pin mapping (once working correctly) in the Arduino service...

Not sure ..

Some confusion has occurred about zombie processes ... Strangely the process which would be kind of the 'cure' to zombies, is itself becoming a zombie - but not because its a process out of control.. its because very few know how to use it, and it does not (at the moment) default to present a UI

This "probably" should change because it give a lot of control, and can be used to prevent Zombies !

I can't connect to an Arduino from MRL. I can program fine from the Arduino IDE (tried both a UNO and a Mega), and they show up in Device Manager. I downloaded MRLComm without any errors. I checked - there are no zombie java platforms running. I rebooted and started over - still no luck. I'm running the MRL version I downloaded from http://www.inmoov.fr/wp-content/uploads/mrl/myrobotlabX64.1.0.107.zip I tried running newer versions of MRL but the audio won't play in them.

I'm running Windows 10 (64 bit).
