Next version 'Nixie' is coming soon !
Is there a place where the InMoov service commands are documented?
I am wanting to work on some self calibration routines for the inmoov and need to know what commands are available.
Any pointers would be great.
Thanks,
Damon
Hi
Using an atmega 2850 board I was able to upload the arduino service using COM5 and latest versions of arduino and MRL following the video tutorial from Alessandro.
When running the InMoov service in MRL however I can not select the COM port, message is "0 serial lines found" and I get only refresh/attach/soft reset in the port menu. I am sure I have seen in other earlier tries my COM-port but with these latest versions it looks like its gone.
COM5 shows normal in the windows device manager and ist set to 57600 as recommended.
Sniffing the intertoobs has lead me first to this:
http://www.speech.cs.cmu.edu/sphinx/dictator/#source
which turned out to be dead - or looks that way .. Sphinx
http://grasch.net/projects Simon project which leads to ...
https://simon.kde.org/download
That is a C++ (with possible dependencies into KDE yikes!) program .. which can make it a little tricky interfacing Java to it .. but we've done it before..
Hmmmm
Lets figure out how we can control InMoov & mobile platforms with the Xbox (and other controllers)
Two instances of MRL borged together as One ! The colored tabs are the views into the remote instance's services. Remember MRL is NOT the GUI !
I think the InMoov design would benefit from a "tilt-able" kinect. The kinect comes with its own tiltable stand, but controlling this through the kinect driver is very problematic.
We need a single servo - tilt gimbal for the kinect.
The kinect is the most powerful sensor we have, but we can not look down and see what is in front of us !
