Next version 'Nixie' is coming soon !

Help us to get ready with MyRobotLab version Nixie: try it !

This 3D scanning software took me a long time to find out....

I just bumped into this Autocad 123D Catch app which impressed the hell out of me.

The object you see is a project I made a few years back using Polymorph plactic (thats how you made 3D plastic stuff then)

for some reason MRL1107 seems to be unable to handle

i01.leftArm.rotate.map(40,180,155,20)

so i need to map it and change direction in another way.

it would be nice if i could get some help.

After beeing able to come up with my own calculation the palm position if felt the challange to do the same for the move to a new position. Found also some nice tutorials that can bring a dummy closer to the subject (e.g. SVD tuto by Kirk Baker).

I am looking at MRL code in DHRobotArm to try to understand how Kevin has done it.

Unfortunately my current own experiments (VS with Anaconda and numpy) have not succeeded and I wanted to step thru Kevin's code with the eclipse debugger to find the differencies.

Hi

I had some problems with eye control with version 1.0.1065 and switched back to 1.0.119. Kevin mentioned this to be a rather old version?

Now I have seen a blog by Gaël that he is recommending/using an even older version 1.0.107.

I do not want to push anybody around here just wanted to know what version I should use to do my experiments with - meaning getting proper first time connections to the arduinos and not having to go into each tab and disconnect/reconnect the servos to make them move?

thanks, Juerg
