I used a Logitech Extream pro Joystick, plugged into the USB.
I did try a Steam wireless gaming joystick, with it's dongle,
but, not only did the joystick components come through, it was also injecting keyboard strokes as well. :-(
Most anoying, but MRL did return correctly all the pads, sticks and buttons as well, even if it was switching between screens while I was playing with it.
Joysticks are great
The Joystick service is worky in Rasbian as well :-)
