Ya servo speed is great. For the motor test did you have a path pre-programed or are you using the joystick Service? Excellent demo of capabilities - what is your next big objective ?
@Masta, The servo's are MG995 pro, i didn't tested the torque, but my robot is made with 5mm plywood. It's light here is the specifications :
Dimension : 40mm x 19mm x 43mm
Net weight: 69g
Operating Speed : 0.17sec / 60 degrees (4.8V no load)
Operating Speed : 0.13sec / 60 degrees (6.0V no load)
Stall Torque : 13 kg-cm (180.5 oz-in) at 4.8V
Stall Torque : 15 kg-cm (208.3 oz-in) at 6V
Operation Voltage : 4.8 - 7.2Volts
Gear Type: All Metal Gears
Connector Wire: Heavy Duty, 11.81" (300mm)
@Grog, No path, it's just a simple joystick, you can see the USB cable( it had a blue led lol ) . I still didn't tryed the ultrasonic sensors and i need to buy encoders. I've lot of idea, but not enouth time . And for now, i've still some harware problem to solve : As you can hear in the video, there is the "sound" of the servo in the speakers, the speed of the wheels motor is max 20% because the hardware that decrease 12v to 6v miss some ampers , and the last test i did with utrasonic sensors gave unstable distances ( move beetween 60cm and 180cm quickly ) . For the ultrasonic some test learnt me that the power isn't the problem, so i need to check the arduino's connections .
For the future, i think to give him ( yes, not IT ) an IR emiter , a temperature sensor, the ability to control the lightning of the Leds of the webcams (6 white led on each) . I wan't also give him the possibility to understand french (need to change some file for sphinx) and a lot of other thing but for all that i must learn, learn and learn lol ( I love learn ! )
As you can see , i've started to build him a "suit" with strong cardboard . One more thing to finish !
I will make some picture of the hardware. You can see a part in his back that isn't paint yet . It's a trap to acces easilly to the USB hub, the raspberry bananaPI, and connectors that give me thhe possibility to "cut" sweety in two ( if i need to put it in my car a day for a trip ! )
Awesome servo speed
Very good job! I love the speed of your servos and the angles of the arms. But do they still have some torque?
AWESOME BEETLEJUICE !!!
Great Video BeetleJuice !
Wow .. you've made some stunning progress !

She has very sexy red lips ! :D

That all for now !
super ta video fred j
super ta video fred j apprecie la mise en scene de ta video avec le rideau derriere
la vitesse des servos moteurs est impressionnante voir un peu trop rapide
la bouche facon knight rider me plais bien lol
j aime aussi la plateforme qui roule
un petit blog rapide serait super pour voir le back stage ce qui nous plais a tous
feliciation
amby
Merci !
Merci !
Great robot....
Great job on that robot... Kudos...
