I have use one stepper for tilt left and right and one stepper to torn body left and right at lower lower torso with build in planetary gear system easy print.

I have not started another InMoov yet but when I do I will certainly borrow from your ideas. I have pretty much an endless supply of stepper motors of various sizes so it just makes sense for me to experiment.
