Elon Musk opens up a ten million dollar donation for researchers who don't want robotic overlords.

I think there can be benefits from this, but 10 Million Dollars seems like excessive paranoia if he is looking to control AI before it even see's positive results beyond theory in the current work in the field.

My first synical feeling .. "it it's a tax break plus marketing" ... 

But it makes me curious what nefarious AI they will be researching ... Google perhaps? (DONT BE EVIL!) :)
