Getting Started Questions

Matthew's picture

I was trying to become more aquainted with MRL as a user and had some questions. I thought I would create a thread to save the answers for posterity.

First, I was trying the keyboardinput example (HERE). Long story short, it doesn't seem to work. Being unexperienced I don't really know why. It appears input() is never being called, but the keyboard commands appear in the java window.

Upon executing the example I get the readout below.

WebGUI - Arduino Gauge Fix

GroG's picture

There was a previous problem with gauges locking up the browser - I did an inquiry on the RGraph forum and they suggested I use Draw() instead of .Grow() .  Since then, things are working great I have 10+ web clients looking at the gauge - and its preforming very snappy !  YAY ! - Now many people we can look at our Arduino gauges remotely for hours :)

WebGUI with Serial Service

Here is the beginning of the Serial Service display in the WebGUI.  MRL is connected to an Arduino Mega - and the Mega is sending out a stream of data which is displayed in the Serial service output.

Success in small steps :)
This is a mod'd Arduino gui.  The good news - it wasn't too hard to do.  And A0 the first guage actually moved a bit based on Arduino data :)

The Bad news ....   it completely froze the browser :(
